In fact, many people believe that our birdhouses and birdfeeders become more attractive over the years. The white products have three coats of hand-brushed paint for a long lasting finish. The stained products have a color "wash" that allows the wood grain to show through. Our rounded cedar shingles are protected with water seal and will weather to a lovely silver-gray. |

| The Islander Feeder is a relaxed, more natural version of our designs. We included a hand-carved cedar bird and hand-cut copper leaves to add to that image. The feeder is made of cypress that is stained with a weathered finish and the long shingles are made of cedar. These will weather to a silver gray in a few months. 25" tall, 15" diameter. | The inspiration for this striking feeder came from an old tin top from an architectural salvage warehouse. We adapted the top into a spun base of copper and attached the fins individually. The top looks wonderful in verdigris copper (shown) or shiny copper. We have added a solid copper rod on top with a white glass ball. The base of the feeder is cypress with six posts and a copper band. It comes with four large brackets and a metal plate for mounting to your post. Shipped in two pieces without post. In White. |
