The SAM Wall Mount/Fixed gas monitor is available with up to nine interchangeable plug-in sensors. The sensors can be changed within minutes and are automatically recognized by the microprocessor allowing for instantaneous flexibility in targeting new gases introduced into the customer's process. The unit can be easily relocated- just unplug it from the wall and carry it to the next area to be monitored.
The seven-character LCD displays the corresponding gas type, concentration and specific alarm selection. Peak mode displays highest toxic level or lowest oxygen level since turn on. During start-up the SAM performs sensor diagnostics and automatically zeros toxic sensors or sets oxygen range to 20.9%. In the "supervisory mode" users can change alarm set points as well as alarm combinations including audible, visual and optional strobe.
